Recently we have received several inquiries into to the Certificate of Recognition™ (COR™) Program requirement that came into effect on January 1, 2021. To ensure consistency with the national Certificate of Recognition™ (COR™) standard, employers must now be able to demonstrate that front-line supervisors have received training in, as a minimum, the following:
Any supervisor who has completed COR™ training, the WorkplaceNL Supervisor Safety Certification or the NLCSA’s Safety for Supervisors Training would be considered to have appropriate training.
